L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation Review

Evening guys! How are you all? I feel as though i haven't blogged in so long and have kinda missed it!

My life has changed so much in the last few months and blogging took a back seat.......bad i know! However, i am back today to share with you my love for a new discovery.

I have mentioned on numerous occasions that it's not easy to find a drugstore foundation for my skin tone. Several months ago i was in Superdrug and i saw that L'Oreal had a 3 for 2, and after a lot of swatching in the store, i ended up buying the Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation.

My shade in this foundation is 220 Golden Sand, which matches my skin perfectly! I am currently a MAC NC44.

I am amazed at how light the foundation is, but still giving good coverage. I don't like heavy, or full coverage foundation, which is why i am loving this one! It is extremely light on the feels like water!

It comes in a sleek glass bottle, and with no pump, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The suggested way to apply this foundation is by shaking the bottle, and then applying it with your fingers onto your face. I have actually been dabbing it onto a beauty blender, and working it into the skin. Personally it gives a much nicer finish. :)

I have actually been using this foundation everyday for work, but also for nights out. It wears very well, and i noticed very little fading throughout the day. I still have to touch up with powder around my t-zone in the late afternoon, but that has always been the case with me, regardless of which foundation i use!

I think people with slightly drier skin may not like this foundation because it may emphasise the dryness. I did notice that the foundation 'caught' on a little dryness around my nose, but i think it's fab for those oily/combo people.

My overall thoughts? Absolute amaze-balls!!! I am totally in love with this foundation, and the fact that it's £9.99 is even better! This foundation does everything it needs to, giving flawless coverage without the feeling that you have anything on.

It would be great to hear your thoughts, if any of you have tried this foundation? xXx

  1. Wow, thank you for this review. I need to try this foundation. Is there a huge selection of colours? I'm currently using the Loreal True Match because they have a lot of shades.

  2. if you love this foundation then will you love the maybellines version of this *(its finally here in the UK)... i feel like that one lasts on me better even though my skin isn't too oily... and also gives a bit more coverage. However I have only used it a few times and will let you know on how they compare, maybe I will do a blog post on it as i'm thinking of blogging:) any tips will be appreciated Selina and this was a nice review x

  3. p.s I got the maybelline foundation for £4.99 from ebay brand new with fee delivery whoop whoop!! but its £8.99 in superdrug.. and keep an eye out for my blog :
