LORAC Tantalizer Highlighter And Matte Bronzer Duo Review

I know how hard it can be for us women of colour to find a bronzer that isn't too muddy or orange and this duo has become a fundamental part of my daily makeup routine.

I purchased this mini duo from Ulta when i was in New York in January, and now i'm wishing i picked up the larger one instead!

This bronzer and highlighter duo is perfect for desi, asian, indian, hispanic skin tones because it can be used not only as a bronzer, but also a contouring product.

At first i thought the bronzer would be a bit sheer for my NC42 skin tone, but it does a pretty decent job at warming up my face and i can use it as a natural contour. To me the bronzer doesn't look too warm or too cool.......kinda neutral, which is why i think it would work very well on a lot of skin tones.

The highlighter is a soft, peachy shade that isn't too shimmery, making it ideal to wear during the day. I think this would be quite subtle on lighter skin tones, but is quite prominent on darker skin.

I can't tell you guys how much i have been using this duo since January and it's such a shame that Lorac isn't easily available in the UK! Boooo! I love how this warms up my skin and gives my face a healthy sun kissed look. I haven't even made a dent to the bronzer, which is good 'cos i know how much i'm going to be using it over the next coming months!

What is your perfect bronzer?

Sephora Jumbo Liner 12H Wear Waterproof Crayons Review + Swatches

Last month i was in Barcelona and one of the places that i visited was Sephora. Come on it had to be done!

I am a huge fan of shadow sticks and a few shades caught my eye whilst browsing in Sephora. I picked up three neutral shades, which are wearable on a daily basis but double up as an eyeshadow base as well.

These jumbo pencils are creamy and easy to blend, plus being smudge proof, sweat proof...pretty much everything proof!

Having quite oily lids, i need to make sure i use products that don't crease and stay put all day. I still use the Urban Decay Primer Potion and then i use these jumbo pencils on top. I have been wearing No. 22 (Dark Taupe Shimmer) on it's own and it literally takes less than a minute to apply and blend.

Left - Right: 22 Dark Taupe Shimmer, 05 Beige, 04 Taupe

All these shades are perfect for everyday use, especially for work or uni, as the colours aren't too out there.

With the holiday season coming up, i think these would be perfect if you're travelling to a hot destination, as you know for certain they're not going to budge!

Left-Right: 04 Taupe, 05 Beige, 22 Dark Taupe Shimmer

I think these cost me about €14 each, which is kinda expensive but comparing them to Urban Decay, By Terry etc, they are relatively cheaper.

These jumbo liners are a perfect addition to my ever so growing makeup collection and i wish i had picked up a few more shades!

Do you have any shadow sticks? Favourites?
