The Only Mascara For Me | Makeup Forever Smoky Lash

In the last twelve months or so i have only really used three mascaras, one was the Benefit They're Real and the other two were from L'Oreal. When i was at IMATS back in June, i purchased the Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara and started using it around autumn time (as i wanted to finish off the other mascaras).

Makeup Forever doesn't get as much hype here in the UK, as it does over in the US, but i had heard good things about the mascara, so thought it was about time to give it a go.

This mascara is one of the best ones i have ever tried because it does absolutely everything that i want it to! It makes my lashes appear thicker, longer and holds the curl, as my lashes are normally quite straight. I normally apply one or two coats, and the brush seems to define and separate the lashes, without any clumping or flaking!

It has a typical brush, however the bristles are densely packed together, leaving enough space in between the bristles for it to coat the lashes, as well as separate them. The other thing that i noticed was that the formula wasn't runny unlike new mascaras. A lot of people say mascaras work better as they get older because the formula is thicker, and i found the MUFE Smoky Lash already had a nice thick formula!

Overall, i love this mascara and have already repurchased another one. I think you guys can tell from the picture above why i am hooked onto this mascara! Yes, it is pretty expensive for a mascara at £18.50, but personally i think it's one of the best out of the higher range mascaras. It can be difficult to get hold of here in the UK, as you can only pick it up from Guru Makeup Emporium and Precious About Makeup but it is one i would highly recommend if you are looking for a high end mascara.

Have you tried the MUFE Smoky Lash?

  1. I've been wanting to try this for such a long time. It looks incredible on your lashes.

  2. Been thinking of buying this so I could try it. I think it does a really good job. I love mascaras and I actually have tried a lot but some don't really give me the satisfaction I need. Thanks for the review!
