Eyeshadow sticks are becoming very popular and more drugstore brands are slowly bringing them out. Years ago, i remember when MAC had their shade sticks but i don't recall any other brands having anything similar.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow sticks come in five different shades and i picked up Blackmail and Bad Girl Bronze......you can't really go wrong with a black and a brown!
Both these colours are super pigmented and they honestly are one of the creamiest eyeshadow sticks i have ever used and i have quite a few in my collection! It feels extremely buttery on application and is very easy to blend with either your fingers or a brush. This does set, so you do have to work quickly.
These Scandaleyes have a matte finish and i did mention before that they set, which is why i think it's great for oily lids, but also, for people wanting to make their eyeshadows last longer. I like using these more as a base, because they increase the longevity of my powder eyeshadows and also makes it more vibrant.
I wouldn't use blackmail on my waterline, as i think it will smudge a lot due to the moisture in that area, nonetheless, i would use it as a shadow for the lower lash line. I personally think if you are looking for that smokey look, it would look fab.
I have been continuously using the Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks since i got them because i am so impressed with the formula and the texture. I love how long they last on my oily lids and how they can change the appearance of powder eyeshadows.
They cost £4.49 and can be purchased from Boots or Superdrug.
