MAC In Extra Dimension Skinfinish & Blush Swatches

I literally just got home a little while ago and found a parcel that had arrived from MAC! It was some products from the new In Extra Dimension range. I picked up two Extra Dimension Skinfinishes and two blushes.

Here are some pictures that i have managed to take (whilst it's still light!) with some swatches! The MAC In Extra Dimension products are available online and will be launched at MAC counters on Thursday 2nd May (or so i was told by MAC).

Since my holiday in Cuba, i have tanned significantly and my shade is a MAC NC45, so please bare that in mind with regards to the swatches :). All pictures have been taken in natural light.

I will be doing in-depth reviews of the products later on but wanted to get the swatches up before the official UK release.

MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes retail at £21.50 and the blushes for £19. Both can be purchased online HERE.

What do you think? Anything you'll be picking up?

  1. I do love the extra dimension highlighters I picked some up in the last collection. These highlighters look similar to them. Think ill grab the blushes though :-) xx

  2. wow these look so pretty in the pan!

  3. Love the swatchs in the second pic x

  4. I tested all of these instore when they were released & found them to be exactly the same texture & color payoff as Physician's Formula blush products. Which is why I ended up buying none of them. I'm really disappointed with all of MAC's spring/summer offerings this year. I even went to the product launch party for the latest collection & bought nothing. I really am waiting for MAC to put a great deal more effort into their limited edition collections. They're releasing far too many, backto back & ssacrificing quality & creativity as a result.

The same day I went to MAC's summer product lineup launch party (which made so little impression on me that I even forgot the name), I wandered over to the Dior counter & picked up both of their limited edition quad color bronzer/blushes for summer. Which are absolutely gorgeous & worth every dime I spent on them considering the product quality, the beautiful metal compacts with the wave design AND the lovely brush they included. $59 each for 9.5 grams of product, all wrapped up in velvet pouches. MAC should start paying attention!
