So, recently i was browsing the NARS website (as you do), and i came across the most beautiful palette! I ended up buying it there and then, as i didn't want to chance it being sold out.
It is a simple, neutral palette with six of the regular NARS eyeshadows and comes with a no. 3 eyeshadow brush and Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer.
The palette is much smaller than i had expected. I have some of the other NARS palettes, which are bigger, however i couldn't fault the portability of this palette. Each eyeshadow is 1g, which is less than half of the standard eyeshadows.
I like the mixture of textures in this palette, not all the eyeshadows are matte or shimmery, there's a bit of both. I think the mix of shades and textures will allow anyone to recreate whichever look they want.
The shades you get in the palette are:
- Alhambra -Shimmery champagne
- Bellisima - Matte taupe
- Kalahari - Shimmery bronzy taupe
- Galapagos - Deep chocolate with gold specks
- Night Clubbing - Cool, muddy brown
- Coconut Grove- Black with gold specks
Left-Right: Alhambra, Bellisima, Kalahari, Galapagos, Night Clubbing, Coconut Grove. |
I found most of the eyeshadows super easy to blend with no fallout, except one! Kalahari seemed to have some fallout when applying it to the lids with a MAC 239, as well as when trying to blend it out. It wasn't a lot of fallout, however i just noticed it, as i didn't expect it from NARS. Night Clubbing and Coconut Grove look streaky, but blend fine on the lids.
I really love the name of the palette and it has the ideal colour combination, to suit all occasions. I am slightly obsessed with neutral palettes and this certainly doesn't disappoint!
The NARS And God Created The Woman Set retails at £40.50 and can be purchased HERE.
