Burberry Lip Cover Lipstick Blush & Lip Definer Bright Plum Review & Swatches

Burberry* is such an iconic brand and their cosmetics range matches that. The packaging is simply luxurious and makes me feel like a million dollars!

The Burberry logo is etched onto the actual lipstick itself, which i think gives Burberry that little bit of extra class! The lipstick also has a magnetic lid, so you know that it's not going to get all over your makeup bag!

The lipstick is in shade 09 Blush and is impressively hydrating. It felt moisturizing and luscious on my lips.  There is a slight rosy scent, that doesn't really bother me. Wearing this on an evening out did not dry up my lips at all! I didn't even have to apply lip balm prior to putting on this lipstick! SUPER HYDRATING!

I went out to dinner in Spain wearing the combination lipstick and lip definer. The colour wore for a good few hours and after food and drinks, the colour has started to wear off a tiny bit but not a huge amount.

I kept the rest of the makeup very simple. It was just too hot to wear heavy makeup, which is why i opted for the Burberry lipstick.

Burberry Lip Covers retail for £22.50 and can be purchased HERE

What I'm wearing:
Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer (med)
MAC Select Moisture Cover (NC42)
NARS Gilda Blush
MAC Tarnish Pencil Liner
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes
Burberry Lip Definer Bright Plum
Burberry Lipstick 09 Blush

I also got the Burberry Lip Definer in Bright Plum and this shade fits perfectly with the Burberry Lip Cover in Blush.

I was very impressed that the liner came with a sharpener, as some brands make you purchase a separate one!

I have also used the lip definer as an all over lip colour. I just fill in the entire lips with the lip definer and for a more bolder, long lasting colour, i would layer a lipstick over the top.

Burberry Lip Definers cost £15.50 and can be purchased HERE

The quality of the Burberry products is outstanding and it seems as though Burberry have lived up to the hype. I am in love with the lipstick and find myself putting it on as my everyday colour. I am definitely going to be adding more shades!

I think the prices are reasonable for a luxury brand, and there are other brands that charge a lot more, i.e. Tom Ford lipsticks at £36.
You can currently purchase these products on the Burberry Website HERE and Harrods.

Have any of you tried the makeup range from Burberry? What do you think of it?

* Disclaimer: These products were sent for review. I was not paid for this post, nor am i affiliated with them. This is my honest opinion, as always.
