My Lancome Hypnose mascara was coming to an end, and instead of going out to buy another one, I rummaged through my endless piles of makeup (as you do!) and i had a mascara from Maybelline that i thought i would try.
I have had so many people coming up to me asking me about my lashes.....that's when i knew this mascara was a hit!
I have always reached for the Make Up Forever Smoky Lash, and L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes, but lets face it, they cost quite a bit! Plus, i am trying to use products that i already have in my collection, and i think mascaras are the easiest ones to get through.
This mascara does remind me of the L'Oreal False Lash Flutter, with the curved mascara wand. On the inner part of the wand, the bristles are very densely packed and closer together. The outer part has much longer bristles.
As soon as i applied this mascara, i noticed that the formula was thicker and there wasn't too much product on the wand. Some mascaras tend to have a much watery texture, which leads to clumping. It lifts my eyelashes from the root, giving a voluminous look and is very easily buildable without looking clumpy. It certainly adds volume, length and definition. It keeps hold of my curl and doesn't flake throughout the day.

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is one of the best drugstore mascaras out there, and is a bit cheaper than some of the other high street mascaras. I am in love with this mascara, and it is one that i can certainly recommend to you all. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is £7.99 and can be picked up HERE.
Have any of you tried this mascara? Thoughts?
