Sleek Face Contour Kit Review + Swatches

I just realised that i have never reviewed my beloved contour kit from Sleek and thought it was about time!

We all know contouring is the 'in thing' amongst everyone and previously contouring was left up to the professionals, however now it's in most peoples makeup routine.

The packaging is a simple, matte black case and falls in line with the rest of the Sleek packaging. It is a very convenient size with a big mirror and comes in three colours; light, medium and dark.

Sleek Contour Kit Medium

I have both medium and dark, but in the last 6 months i have been using dark instead of medium. The matte contour powder is the perfect cool brown for sculpting your features. There is a highlighter as well, but i find this a bit too golden for my NC42 skin, although it would look fab on deeper skin tones.

Sleek Contour Kit Dark

Contouring can create amazing cheekbones, narrow the nose and make your face slimmer in general. I don't contour my face in my daily makeup routine because i simply don't have the time and nor do i want to go to work with sculpted cheeks!

Left-Right: Sleek Contour Kit Medium & Dark

I like using the Real Techniques Contour Brush with this because i find the tapered dome brush is perfect for getting the contour into the hollows of the cheeks.

This contour kit retails for £7.99 and can be purchased online HERE or at your local Superdrugs.

  2. I love the contour kit, I haven't felt the need to purchase anything else in the 5 years I've owned mine. And I've never hit pan in those 5 years! Its crazy

  4. I have been meaning to buy this for years. Recently heard about the natural collection eyeshadow in crushed walnut being a good contour for asian skintone though so will give that a go x

  5. I need the medium kit in my life cause your right, that gold highlighter is lovely but a bit much for my skin tone. Hey, would love to get your take on what are staples to have from one particular brand.....maybe even a series of this on your youtube channel? ;D

  7. I've got both contouring kits - the 2 pan and the 3 pan - and do like them. They aren't my favorites, though. I prefer my Fyrinnae loose bronzers & illuminators for this purpose. They're incredibly pigmented, very affordable, amazing quality & exactly the right shades to contour & highlight. Absolutely no orange tones or frostiness to them. Give them a try some time. I know you'd love them!
