Stand Out Sunday. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Black Ink & Ivy Shimmer

Many of you know that the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliners is my holy grail product. I love using these! They come in a wide variety of colours and i decided to show you two of my most favourites!

The smooth application of this product is unbelievable and i can quickly do my eyeliner and really define a flick with this product. It is certainly long wearing, even on my oily eyelids!

I find that these don't dry out as quickly as the MAC Fluidlines and if the lid is shut properly, you can get a lot of use out of these products.

Sometimes i use these as a base for an eyeshadow because they actually make the eyeshadow much more vibrant. I normally just apply it either with my fingers or a brush and just smudge it. I also like to apply a very thin line to my top lashes and then smudge it with a MAC 219 Pencil brush before it dries and it gives a soft, smokey look.

I have worn the gel eyeliner from very early morning, until late at night and i can say it does stay put on the lids! I find that when my lids are much more oilier, then towards the end of the evening it has transferred onto my upper lid. If i know i am going to have a long day i would use Urban Decay Primer Potion, as it stops it transferring later on in the day.

Yes, there are very similar gel eyeliners on the market and it really does depend on what your budget is. These retail for £17, which is quite expensive but the quality is outstanding. I have gone through several pots of the black ink eyeliner and they last me about 7-8 months and i haven't had a problem with them drying out. This is probably one of the blackest eyeliners on the market and i love the quality of it.
